The procedure for handling complaints related to the FSC certification

Complaints are considered as follows:

  • - notification of the applicant of the receipt of the complaint within 2 (two) weeks from the receipt of the complaint;
  • - consideration of the complaint and informing about the measures taken within 3 (three) months (if it takes more time to consider the complaint, the applicant and the certification body of the organization are notified about this;
  • - taking action on a complaint or deficiencies identified in processes that affect compliance with FSC certification requirements;;
  • - notification of the applicant and the certification body of the organization, after resolving the complaint.
